Legal
Welcome to Vita Veda. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the vitaveda.health website (the “Site”) and the services offered through it. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Vita Veda is a membership-based longevity and preventive medicine practice founded by Priyank Sharma, MD. We provide personalized, proactive medical care, including health assessments, biomarker testing coordination, personalized health plans, and ongoing physician guidance, delivered primarily through telemedicine.
The content on this Site, including blog articles, FAQs, and educational materials, is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no doctor-patient relationship is formed by visiting the Site, reading its content, subscribing to our newsletter, or booking a consultation. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read on this Site.
A doctor-patient relationship with Vita Veda is established only after you (a) complete our intake process, (b) enter into a membership or patient services agreement, and (c) are accepted as a patient by our practice. The free initial consultation is an informational discussion and does not itself establish a doctor-patient relationship or constitute medical care.
Most Vita Veda services are delivered via telemedicine. Physician licensure requirements limit the states in which we can provide care; we will confirm availability in your state before you become a patient. By using telemedicine services, you will be asked to acknowledge a separate telehealth informed consent. Technical failures may occasionally interrupt telemedicine services; alternative arrangements will be made when clinically appropriate.
Our services are not intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not rely on the Site, email, text messaging, or our scheduling tools to communicate urgent or emergency medical issues.
You must be at least 18 years of age and located within the United States to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Vita Veda operates on a membership model. Membership fees, billing frequency, and the services included are described in your membership agreement. We do not bill health insurance for membership fees; however, HSA and FSA payments are accepted, and where possible we help patients use their insurance for laboratory testing, imaging, and medications. Our membership is not health insurance and is not a substitute for health insurance coverage.
All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card details on our servers. Refund and cancellation terms are set forth in your membership agreement. For billing questions, contact us directly.
By providing your contact information, you agree that we may communicate with you by email and, where you have opted in, by SMS/text message, as described in our Privacy Policy. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time and opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with the Site’s operation, or scrape or harvest content or data from the Site without our written permission.
All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, videos, and design elements, is the property of Vita Veda and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
Our services rely on trusted third parties, including laboratory partners (e.g., Quest Diagnostics), scheduling and telehealth platforms, and payment processors. The Site may also link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of third parties, and links do not imply endorsement.
The Site and our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Medicine is not an exact science, and we cannot and do not guarantee specific health outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vita Veda and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability arising from professional medical negligence to the extent such limitation is prohibited.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vita Veda and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site or our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
